In December 2007 Nana Korantema Ayeboafo enjoyed recording as a solo artist the folk and traditional music of Ghana. She shares one of her greatest loves, the music of the Akan AKOM.
Nana plays on multiple tracks the authentic hand-made indigenous instruments common to the AKOM, an Akan sacred spiritual ceremony: Wasawasa, (beaded gourds), Adawuru (bells), Nfrikyiwa (clickers), Atumpan drums, Apentemma drum, Adukurogya drum and Apintin drum. She also sings vocals on three tracks.
